Proposed Section 26a Permit for a Modification to Black Oak Marina on Cherokee Reservoir

TVA is considering a Section 26a application request from Black Oak Marina to construct additional boat slips and reconfigure existing facilities inside their approved harbor limits.  Section 26a permit approval of these facilities will increase the recreational opportunities on Cherokee Reservoir.  The project is located on Cherokee Reservoir at Holston River Mile 52.8  (left bank) (36.153770, -83.485830), in Jefferson County, Tennessee.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request prior to making a permit decision. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
