Proposed Easement on Guntersville Reservoir for Northshore Campground

TVA is considering a request from South Sauty Creek Resort, Inc. (SSCR) to grant a 30-year commercial recreation easement over approximately 39.73 acres on Guntersville Reservoir at South Sauty Creek Mile 1.5 (right bank) (34.523710, -86.098001), in Jackson County, Alabama.  SSCR’s existing agreement is set to expire in October 2024 and this request will allow them to continue managing the Northshore Campground. 

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this request.  Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before November 4, 2023.  Written comments may emailed to [email protected].
