Proposed Deed Modification on Chickamauga Reservoir for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency

TVA is considering a request to grant a deed modification over approximately 14.17 acres on Chickamauga Reservoir at Hiwassee River Mile 12.0 (left bank), in Bradley County, Tennessee.  In partnership with the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has requested the modification to support the restoration of wetland habitat.  TVA is seeking public comment prior to a final decision to abandon certain easement rights.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request.  Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before October 12, 2020.  Written comments may be mailed to the address below or emailed to [email protected].
