Public Recreation Easement on Kentucky Reservoir

TVA is considering a request to grant a 30-year public recreation easement over approximately 6.2 acres on Kentucky Reservoir at Big Bear Creek - mile 1.4 (left bank) - in Marshall County, Kentucky.  The Marshall County Fiscal Court currently operates Big Bear Park on the property and is seeking the easement for continued operation of the park’s day-use facilities and reservoir access area.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request.  Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.  All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before May 1, 2014.  Written comments may be mailed to the address below or e-mailed to [email protected].
