Proposed Permanent Easement on TVA Muscle Shoals Reservation for Alabama Chapter of American Chestnut Foundation

TVA is considering a request to grant a permanent easement over approximately 7.64 acres of TVA Muscle Shoals Reservation property in Colbert County, Alabama. The Alabama Chapter of the American Chestnut Foundation (ACACF) has requested the permanent easement for continued use of the American Chestnut orchard located on the property. The requested easement would allow the ACACF to continue performing research activities.

TVA is interested in receiving comments regarding the action’s potential to affect the environment or historic properties, and to identify any other issues associated with this request. Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection.
