TVA Selects Concessionaire Manager for Six Campgrounds Located on TVA Dam Reservations in Tennessee

TVA has selected Recreation Resource Management Inc. (RRM) as the concessionaire manager to operate and maintain six campgrounds located on TVA dam reservations in Tennessee. The selection was made after reviewing proposals submitted to TVA following a Request for Proposal released in July 2014.

The campgrounds will be managed under a five-year contract and are located at TVA’s Cherokee Dam (Jefferson County), Douglas Dam Headwater and Tailwater (Sevier County), Melton Hill Dam (Loudon County), Pickwick Dam (Hardin County) and Watauga Dam (Carter County). The concessionaire will enable TVA to offer additional amenities to the public including campsite reservations, Wi-Fi service, laundry facilities and on-site camp stores at most locations.
